The following is from the Wilson Scrapbook; dated ca 28 May 1891:
"Mrs. Iantha Talbott, a prominent lady of Bethesda, and wife of the late John Talbott, died at her home in that place on Monday,
at the advanced age of seventy-six years. The deceased had been a remarkedly strong, active woman until about three
weeks ago, when she was prostrated by paralysis, from which she never rallied. Mrs. Talbott was a devoted member of
the Disciples' church, and while health and strength was given her did all she could for the good of those with whom she was
associated. In her home she was a loving, devoted mother, and leaves seven worthy sons and two estimable daughters to
mourn the loss of a noble, christian mother. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning. Interment at Ebenezer.
